Efficient modeling of masonry failure using a multiscale domain activation approach

چکیده

A finite element based framework that formulates an adaptive multiresolution multiscale technique is presented, with the goal of both accurately and efficiently simulating large masonry structures. In order to find a compromise between accuracy computational efficiency scale embedding model where macro- microscale elements come into play proposed, combining advantages have offer. This theory tested compared equivalent demonstrate its rivals approach, while at same time having higher efficiency. The developed underlying in couple selected example structures, ranging from small unreinforced walls openings. An application form soil subsidence explored, showing potential for extended applications this type modeling.
